Volunteers are needed to sit at our booth, hand out flyers, and answer questions. You do not need to be a member to volunteer, this would be a great way to get to know more about the Arts Council, and meet some other members!

Annual Arts Council Meeting
The Annual Arts Council Meeting will be held on July 17th (3rd Thursday) at Cecil’s Jazz Club, 364 Valley Street in town. Member Awards, a Buffet style dinner, and after dinner music and dancing is planned for the evening. Members and non-members alike are encouraged to attend. More details to follow.
6th Annual Art Scene at the Green
The West Orange Arts Council will be holding this popular fall festival celebrating art and music at the Essex Green Shopping Center in West Orange Route 280 and Prospect Avenue on Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 11 am to 5 pm. The rain date is Sunday, October 5, 11 am to 5 pm. Many top artists who have exhibited their beautiful paintings, photography, jewelry and more will be back. New events and new artists and crafters will add to the mix. Admission is free and all artwork will be for sale.
All activities will take place in the Courtyard area of Essex Green between Petco and Panera’s. There is plenty of free parking and the event is handicapped accessible.
